Maria Taj Muhammad is a dedicated development professional and social activist with a Master’s in Sociology and a proven track record in livelihood support, disaster relief, and community empowerment. Currently working with Azat Foundation/World Food Program, Maria has successfully managed complex on-site implementations, ranging from food security initiatives to large-scale disaster relief operations also by a commitment to social change, notably highlighted by her work with Secours Islamique France (SIF) and her leadership in the “Champions of Change” fellowship, where she advocated for female athletes in Sindh and Balochistan. With deep expertise in stakeholder coordination, donor reporting, and social mobilization, Maria seamlessly blends academic rigor with boots-on-the-ground execution.
