By participating as a mentor or mentee in the Next Qadam Mentorship Program,
you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Code of Conduct
- All participants must maintain respectful, professional, and compassionate behavior during sessions.
- Timeliness is expected. Repeated late arrivals or unprofessional conduct may result in temporary suspension from the program or platform.
2. Compassionate Communication
- Engage in conversations rooted in respect and kindness.
- Listen attentively, speak authentically, and respond thoughtfully.
- Prioritize understanding over judgment to create a safe and collaborative space.
3. Language
- Use kind, respectful, and culturally sensitive language.
- Choose words that are inclusive, supportive, and uplifting.
4. Respect & Inclusivity
- Treat every mentee and mentor with dignity and fairness.
- Create an inclusive environment free from discrimination, bias, or harassment.
5. Reporting and Investigation of Sexual Harassment
- Any form of sexual advances, harassment, or related complaints reported by a mentee or mentor will be investigated by a third-party panel, as required by law.
6. Attendance and Session Rescheduling
- If a mentee or mentor misses or reschedules two sessions, their membership may be temporarily suspended or terminated.
- Mentors agree to provide 4–6 hours of mentoring per month for an initial period of three months.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
- Participants are advised not to share personal contact details directly with one another.
- Next Qadam is not responsible for the sharing of personal information such as phone numbers, email addresses, or other details between participants.
- All official communication must take place through designated Next Qadam platforms and channels.
8. Underage Participation (14 Years and Above)
- Mentees under the age of 18 must provide guardian consent before joining the program.
- Guardians must be informed of and approve their child’s participation.
- Guardian contact details (phone number and email address) must be provided.
- A guardian’s signature is required for mentees under 18 years of age.
9. General Agreement
- By signing or accepting this agreement, mentors and mentees confirm that they have read and understood these terms.
- Participants agree to comply with all program rules to ensure a safe, professional, and productive mentoring environment.
