With the multi-sectoral working experience of 20 years, I have come a long way to reach where I am today. I have served in the corporate sector, as well as in institutions and organisations working on social, cultural, and digital development – from there, I have come to a place where I thought I needed to establish an enriched platform on one of the key outcomes of conflict and climate change, which is displacement. So, I founded this digital platform called TheDisplacement.com, dedicated to research, archiving, and policy and advocacy on displacement.

I feel that my journey so far was not so linear and had its ups and downs – also, coming to the development sector from the corporate sector required a different kind of skill set and aptitude, along with the passion and mindset, as it was about giving up an otherwise established career. Hence, the required rework and commitment have taught me great lessons which need to be shared with others.
