Dilawar Khan is a seasoned social entrepreneur and development practitioner with over 14 years of experience in designing, leading, and scaling impactful initiatives across human development, youth empowerment, gender equity, inclusion, peacebuilding, and democratic governance in Pakistan.
His work is grounded in a strong commitment to justice, inclusion, and participatory development, operating at the intersection of grassroots action, policy engagement, and capacity building. He has consistently transformed systemic challenges into community-driven solutions, with a particular focus on marginalized youth, women, persons with disabilities, and minority groups.
Dilawar is a founding member of two nationally recognized civil society platforms the College of Youth Activism and Development (CYAAD) and the Peace and Justice Network (PJN) established to advance peace, protect rights, and strengthen accountable institutions through organized civic action. He also serves as Coordinator (Pakistan) for the global Dialogue, Empathetic Engagement and Peacebuilding (DEEP) Network, linking local realities with global peacebuilding discourse.
He brings strong expertise in program design and management, training and facilitation, organizational development, grants and partnerships, and strategic stakeholder engagement. His career reflects a sustained commitment to building just, inclusive, and peaceful societies through sustainable, community-led approaches.
