About Me
During my undergraduate years, curiosity led me to volunteer across initiatives focused on climate action, gender equality, youth civic engagement, and social welfare. These early experiences not only exposed me to the challenges communities face but also helped me polish skills essential for professional spaces e.g. project management, advocacy and community engagement.
I currently work as a Program Officer at HIVE Pakistan, focusing on community-led peacebuilding, decolonial MEL, and youth engagement in peace and security. In addition, I serve as a Youth Advisor to the EU Community of Practice on Peace Mediation, where I have represented Pakistan in the Community of Practice’s event in Belgium. I am also building a youth-led movement, Pakistan Unites, which will engage young people across the country to foster social cohesion and active citizenship. My ongoing volunteer engagements include work with Youth Transforming Narratives (YTN), and I am a Global Shaper at the Rawalpindi Hub, co-leading an initiative that create mentorship pathways for undergraduate girls in twin cities.
Internationally, I have participated in multiple forums, including Geneva Peace Week, where I contributed to the Kofi Annan Youth Peacebuilders Dialogue, the CSO-UN Dialogue on Peacebuilding, and as a fellow of Global Unites, I attended their Summit in Doha in 2025. I represented my project at the Young South Asian Leaders Initiative (YSALI) program in Dhaka, Bangladesh, focusing on women’s engagement for social cohesion and economic empowerment.
In addition, I have been part of several fellowship programs, including the Salamti Fellowship on Peace and Security, Kasni Daira, Tech Sahelis, Amal Fellowship, Mashal Entrepreneurship Program, and other national fellowships. I also served as a Doha Debates Ambassador. These experiences have strengthened my ability to navigate opportunities, build meaningful work and communicate ideas across diverse platforms.
I hold a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Quaid e Azam University (First Class, 3.8 GPA) and now I am pursuing a Master’s in Human Rights at the University of London on fully funded Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship. Based on my experiences, I am committed to supporting youth in building their skills, gaining clarity on opportunities, and finding their voice to lead change in their communities.
