Hassan is a seasoned development practitioner with expertise in community engagement, particularly with socially marginalized communities in Pakistan. As a passionate blogger and social media commentator, he also writes about human rights, gender, and faith based violence. With a background in Social Science and experience as a journalist, Hassan has worked with Al Jazeera News Network and written for prominent publications like Dawn News, Express Tribune, The Nation, and HuffPost. He is a recipient of the prestigious “Emerging Leaders of Pakistan” fellowship award from the US Department of State and has represented Pakistan nationally and internationally.

Hassan also holds experience in digital media, having launched social media activism movements and led the digital wing of award-winning campaigns like AIK – Better Together. With over a decade of experience in preventing/countering violent extremism, peacebuilding, and promoting religious harmony, Hassan’s work has been recognized by the Atlantic Council, the US Embassy, and various national and international platforms.

Currently, he is associated with HIVE Pakistan, where he has been working for the past seven years. In his free time, Hassan enjoys traveling, playing cricket, and reading about history and politics.
